The Stealth™ Collar

The Stealth™ Collar is the most popular variation of the original Turian Style Collar.   As all our collars, it's made of 3/8 inch Stainless Steel with the mating ends shiplapped. This method of joining the two halves gives the collars a smooth and elegant look without any unsightly gaps that can draw attention, snag on hair or pinch the skin. Ring of Steel is not afaid to show large photos of our collar joint detail! The difference is that the Stealth™ Collar, has no visible screw or hinge pin on one side, allowing the wearer to "fly under the radar" of friends, curious co-workers or strangers, even more so if the leash rings are removed. And speaking of flying, wear the optional Key Pendant on the Stainless Steel Chain around the neck or maybe on a Key Fob and avoid embarrassment while searching for a key in front of overzealous TSA agents! The set screw does not have to be removed in case the collar does, so less chance of loosing it and it only takes a few seconds to refasten the collar back where it belongs. The Stealth™ collar comes with 2 wrenches, 1 extra screw plus 1 set of Leash Rings. Note: All items in the photo are Stainless Steel, the hex wrenches and the pendant's hex are not.

The Stealth™ Collar and Cuffs requires a different Allen Key and Key Pendant that is   NOT interchangeable with the Allen screws used with the Buttonhead Collars and Cuffs! The various Key Pendants are listed on order form.

The New 1/4 inch Stealth™ Collar

Every so often I receive a request for a more delicate yet functional collar. These requests have now become a reality in the 1/4 inch or 6.35 mm Stealth™ Collar  There is a reason why my 3/8 inch collars are in the odd inside circumference sizes, however the new 1/4 inch collars are in even increments of 1/2 inch. For example 13, 13-1/2, 14, 14-1/2 15, etc. If the correct size is not listed, please specify the inside circumference in the Comment Box. As in the 3/8 inch collar, the set screw is screwed into a "blind hole", preventing it from  becoming loose and falling out. To open the collar, the set screw needs only to be backed off a few turns and never removed completely. To match the collar, the hex socket and wrench are also more delicate and can be easily stripped, so it should not be over tightened. None welded rings are included to discourage damaging the collar with "rough play". Two extra set screws and two Allen hex keys are included in the purchase.  The optional Key Pendant matched for the 1/4 inch size collar can be ordered separately. Due to the added difficulty in making this smaller size collar, I have to charge more. I do not make wrist or ankle cuffs in the 1/4 inch size.

E-mail from a customer Sir Farkas,    I guess to open this missive, I would like to give my eternal gratitude to You for making collars such as these. They are works of art in every sense of the word. The smooth ring of the Stealth model really stands out when the collar is worn with normal clothing, but can still be explained away as a necklace or replacement for a wedding band.      Mistress got me this collar after asking what i would like to have for a collar.  She seemed a little hesitant at first, due to the Gorean aspect, but realizing how it also symbolizes infinity with the unbroken ring really drove it home,  i believe.  Yet even with knowing this type of collar was my dream collar, seeing it in real life was a definite difference.  I was in the moment, but did notice the attention to detail with the collar.  The clasp is tastefully hidden, with the screw being fit very well into the underside of the collar.       After a week, it feels like the collar has been on for years - no sign of wear on the collar, no chafing of my neck.  I wear the collar everywhere, including biking, at work while cooking, and everything else i could possibly do during any given day.  I have found that small children do like to grab a hold of it, yet since there are no real edges, i feel comfortable letting them grab a hold of it and just keep it in their hand.  The collar is amazing in the face that no real upkeep is needed - i shower with it on and no adverse effect once or ever. I have swam with it, in chlorine I might add, and still no discoloration or anything.      I cannot thank You enough for making this collar, Sir Farkas, and possibly getting more products from You in the future.  With this piece already bought, Mistress was severely impressed with the collar, and i was dumbfounded at the level of detail done on the collar, and still getting it smoothly to open and close. The level craftsmanship on the collar is amazing, and i look forward to more items from Your site.
