In Nomads of Gor, which is Book Four of the Chronicles, we encounter a slave
wearing a most interesting collar. High, close-fitting, and sewn of leather,
it can be cut off and unfolded to reveal a hidden message.

"'Did you note the collar she wore?'
He had not seemed to show much interest in the high thick leather collar
that the girl had had sewn about her neck.
'Of course,' he said. 'I myself,' I said, 'have never seen such a collar.'
'It is a message collar,' said Kamchak. 'Inside the leather sewn within, will be a message.'"

Our version, while it does in fact have a flap allowing the insertion of a secret note, slave
papers, or whatever else the master might desire, has a lace-type closing to allow it to
be removed and reused again and again, or even just worn as an ordinary collar.

Available in a different colors and hand made to the desired size, it makes a lovely accent
to a Gorean wardrobe or even a dress collar for an evening out. With the laces
hidden under hair, it can even pass for a choker necklace.
