The 1/4 inch Covert Collars |

So named because they disguise and conceal the true meaning from the curious,
yet still serve as a fully functional, albeit more dainty collar than the 3/8 inch collars. This crossover into a more "Vanilla" looking collar gives you another choice besides the very popular 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch Stealth® Collars. Made from 1/4 inch diameter Stainless Steel and is fastened in the back with a Stainless Steel set screw, the same as the Stealth® collars. (Some photos show the Buttonhead prototypes.) In the front, a Stainless Steel ring joins the two halves. This ring doubles as the hinge and for attaching a leash or lead. A pendant can easily be attached to this ring, making the collars even more covert. The Covert Collar can be ordered in a traditional round or the
Teardrop design.
The lower half of the teardrop is curved inward, so the collar conforms to the shape of the body. This has a very comfortable feel and gives it more of a "Vanilla" look. The Teardrop collar can also be ordered with the new padlock closing design and choice of padlocks. The padlock covert is hinged in the back and needs no screws. For those that do not want a shiny collar, all 3 designs can be ordered in a Satin finish. Measuring for the teardrop is the same as for any of the round collars but the ring sits about one inch below where the circle would be if it were to continue round. No larger than about 1/2 inch at the base of the neck should be a good fit. Being low maintenance Stainless Steel and of lighter weight, there is no worry about
wearing these collars 24/7... no matter the activity or occasion. The padlocks are NOT stainless steel and appropriate care should be taken as well as any allergic reactions should be considered before ordering. 1 extra screws and 2 Allen wrenches are included with each collar that requires them.
